(Kuala Lumpur) A Chinese Art Painting and Calligraphy Gallery which exhibit a renowned Chinese Art Painter - Fang Yau Min, held on 30th August 2008 (Sat) at 9.00am in Wisma NVMC. Ministry of Transport YB Datuk Ong Tee Keat,who will be the guest of honor to officiate the said ceremony. This Gallery is open to public from 30th August 2008 to 3rd Sept 2008 (5 days) at 10.00am to 6.00pm
Fang Yau Min used to paint Chinese classical artistic tradition, and paintings which bring innovation to the Chinese tradition. It also includes works seeking inspiration from the very early stages of Chinese art, Chinese Calligraphy, Flowers and a few works which reflect the international art movements of the late century. During this five days will present a range of these Chinese painting and calligraphy with highest quality assurance standards and absolutely best tools to experience a spectacular artform.
In addition to artistic expression, the practice of calligraphy is thought to bring good health and increase longevity by exercising the spirit, the mind and the body all at once, expressing the complete spirit of the characters.
Besides, to be in line with NV Foundation objective and mission, it is encouraged those who are interested to purchase these Chinese Painting and Calligraphy. Some of the profit generated will be contribute to the college students for their scholarship.
